Terms of Use
for Users

These terms cover your responsibilities as a MyGlob community member — how to behave in hubs and events, what happens with the content you post, how location and payments work, and how disputes are handled.

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using MyGlob, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.

Account Eligibility and Responsibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use MyGlob. You're responsible for keeping your account information accurate and your login securely private. One person, one account.

03.
Community Conduct

Be kind, honest, and respectful. No harassment, hate speech, spam, scams, illegal activity, impersonation or disruptive behavior. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

04.
User-Generated Content & License

You keep ownership of your content. By posting, you grant us a worldwide license to host, display and promote it within MyGlob and in our marketing channels as long as it remains on the platform.

05.
Events, RSVPs, and Challenges

Events are organized by members or partners, not MyGlob. Please show up or cancel in advance. Be honest in challenges and respect hosts and local rules.

06.
Location Data

We use location to show nearby hubs, events and members. You control what's shared in Privacy settings. We don't continuously track your location in the background or sell it.

07.
Privileges, Bookings, and Payments

Privileges and services are provided by independent partners. Your contract is with them. In-app payments (for premium features) are processed by app stores or our payment providers.

08.
Account Termination

You can delete your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or put others at risk. We'll inform you when possible.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

MyGlob is provided “as is”. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service or the conduct of members, hosts or providers. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing limits liability that can't be excluded under applicable law.

10.
Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France. We'll try to resolve disputes amicably first. If not possible, the courts of France will have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the MyGlob platform — the mobile app, web experience, and related services — operated by DATALAB360 (“we”, “us”, “the Company”). MyGlob is a community for users to find each other, join hubs, attend meetups, take part in challenges, and discover local privileges.

By creating an account or using any part of MyGlob, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the platform.

2. Account Eligibility and Responsibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use MyGlob. By signing up, you confirm that the information you give us (name, email, location, profile details) is accurate, that you’ll keep it up to date, and that you are signing up as yourself — not impersonating anyone else.

You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials private and for everything that happens under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, let us know straight away at contact@myglob.app.

One person, one account. Creating multiple accounts to bypass moderation, ratings, or invitation limits is not allowed.

3. Community Conduct

MyGlob only works because the community shows up for each other. By being here you agree to keep things kind, honest, and lawful. The following are not okay anywhere on the platform — in hubs, events, challenges, messages, or posts:

  • Harassment, bullying, threats, or hate speech of any kind
  • Sexual content involving minors, or non-consensual sexual content
  • Discrimination based on race, religion, gender, orientation, disability, or nationality
  • Promoting illegal activity or breaking local laws while using the platform
  • Spam, scams, MLM pitches, or unsolicited commercial messages
  • Doxxing (sharing private information) or impersonating another member
  • Disrupting the platform — bots, scraping, API abuse, bypassing rate limits

We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend accounts that violate these rules. Where conduct is serious or illegal, we may report it to the relevant authorities.

4. User-Generated Content & License

You keep ownership of everything you post on MyGlob — photos, videos, stories, reels, comments, hub posts, event descriptions, challenge entries, and reviews (“Your Content”). You’re responsible for it: it must be yours to share, lawful, and not infringe anyone’s rights.

By posting, you grant DATALAB360 a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, adapt (e.g. resize, transcode), distribute, and promote Your Content within MyGlob and in MyGlob’s marketing channels. This license lasts only as long as your content is on the platform — when you delete a post or your account, the license ends, except for content others have legitimately re-shared or that we’re required to retain for legal/safety reasons.

We may remove content that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe creates legal or safety risk.

5. Events, RSVPs, and Challenges

Events and challenges on MyGlob are organized by community members or partner organizations, not by MyGlob itself. When you join an event, please show up — no-shows let down the host and the rest of the group.

  • If you can’t make it, leave the event in-app at least a few hours in advance so your spot can be reused.
  • Repeated last-minute cancellations or no-shows may limit your ability to RSVP to capped events.
  • Event hosts may set their own approval flow, capacity, and rules — please respect them.
  • Challenge results you submit must be honest. Faking a result is grounds for removal.

MyGlob is not the organizer or operator of community events and isn’t liable for them. Take the same sensible precautions you’d take meeting anyone in person.

6. Location Data

MyGlob uses your location to show nearby hubs, events, members, and privileges. You control how visible this is in the in-app Privacy settings — you can share approximate city only, or restrict who sees your location at all.

Precise GPS is used only when you ask for it (for example, to find events near you on the map). We do not continuously track your location in the background, and we do not sell your location data to third parties.

7. Privileges, Bookings, and Payments

MyGlob lists privileges and services offered by independent providers (restaurants, coworking spaces, wellness studios, transport, real estate, expat services, and more). MyGlob is a connection platform — we don’t sell those services and we don’t process payments for them.

When you redeem a privilege or book a service, your contract is with the provider directly. The provider’s own terms, cancellation policy, refund rules, and pricing apply. Please read them before you book.

Some MyGlob features (premium membership, boosted visibility, priority access) may involve in-app payments processed by the relevant app store, billed to you directly by Apple, Google, or our payment processor under their own terms.

8. Account Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the in-app settings. We’ll remove your profile and personal data subject to the retention rules described in our Privacy Policy and any legal obligations we have.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, abuse the platform, put other members at risk, or use MyGlob for fraud or illegal activity. Where possible, we’ll tell you why and give you a chance to respond — but for serious or repeated violations we may act immediately.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

MyGlob is provided “as is”. We do our best to keep the platform running and the community safe, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted service, and we don’t vouch for any particular member, host, event, privilege, or provider.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DATALAB360 is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of MyGlob — including disputes between members, the conduct of event hosts or attendees, or the quality of services delivered by independent providers.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (for example, fraud or death/personal injury caused by negligence).

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France. If a dispute arises, we’ll first try to resolve it amicably — please reach out to contact@myglob.app. Where that isn’t possible, the courts of France will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live.
