How we keep MyGlob safe and welcoming: our community norms, what's prohibited, and the tools every member has to report and block — plus how quickly we act on reports.

Welcome to MyGlob
Our mission is to help travellers, digital nomads and expats build real connections through hubs, Moments, trips, meetups and challenges — in a space that is safe and respectful for everyone. By using MyGlob you agree to these Guidelines, which are part of our Terms of Service.
If we find that you have violated these Guidelines, we may remove the content, warn you, suspend your account, or permanently ban you — depending on severity and previous violations. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users.
Treat every member with kindness. No harassment, bullying or threats.
We welcome all backgrounds, cultures and perspectives with open minds.
Be real. Fake profiles, impersonation or lying about yourself is not allowed.
Harassment, intimidation or sexual solicitation are strictly prohibited.
No explicit, vulgar or sexually provocative content. Keep it appropriate.
MyGlob is not a dating app. We connect through shared interests and experiences.
What Is Not Allowed
These are prohibited everywhere on MyGlob — posts, messages, events, challenges, profiles and meetups.

No sexual solicitation, explicit or pornographic content.
No scams, deceptive activity or requests for financial gain.
No illegal activities, drugs or weapons.
No impersonation or misrepresenting your identity.
No commercial spam, mass messaging or self-promotion.
No violence, threats, stalking or harmful behaviour.
Profiles & Privacy
- A profile photo must be of you — not of any other person.
- You must be at least 18 years old to join MyGlob.
- Don't put sensitive information (financial details, phone numbers, home address, email) in your bio.
- Your profile name must be your real name or real nickname — not someone else’s.
- Don't share or request personal info such as phone numbers, addresses or email publicly.
- Avoid posting detailed travel plans, where you're staying, or arrival times.
- MyGlob will never ask for your financial account information — be cautious about payments.
- Keep activity planning inside MyGlob chats rather than moving to other channels early.
